Miracle

A sign or wonder, such as a healing or the control of nature, which can only be attributed to divine power. The miracles of Jesus were messianic signs of the presence of God's kingdom; they are also known as powers and signs (Mark 9:39; Acts 2:22, 19:11) and mighty works (John 10:25-28). They are produced by God's power (Acts 15:12), Christ's power (Matt. 10:1), and the Holy Spirit's power (Matt. 12:28).

Jesus’ miracles were linked to His Evangelization. Jesus’ miracles announced that the coming of God’s kingdom was the beginning of the final restoration of all things, where matter and spirit, body and soul find their perfect harmony and communion. Jesus promised His apostles that the same “signs” will accompany their Evangelization (Mark 16:17).
