EVDictionary

This EVdictionary (Evangelization Dictionay Online) presents terms, people, events, movements directly related with Evangelization.

It is a bilingual dictionary, English and Chinese.

The material contained in the EVdictionary is strictly related to the study material found in the library of the EVSchool. Except for a very few instances though, it is new material expressely written for the dictionary.

Some entries are very brief, some very long (especially those that deal with great personalities or movements important for evangelization).

It is not a scholarly work and it is not finished yet. It is still in the making. Its aim is on one hand to help EVSchool’s students to broaden their knowledge of Evangelization and on the other hand to offer them an opportunity to add their contributions. Each student is invited to suggest new entries, or better still, to write (in English, in Chinese or in both languages) whatever they may see as useful additions.

How to use the EVdictionary:

  1. If you are a new reader of the EVdictionary, you may first want to have a quick look at the Index for a general idea of its content.
  2. As you can see, the Index (both the English and the Chinese one) follows the English alphabetical order.
  3. Click on the entry of your choice
  4. At the end of each topic, a few “related topics” are suggested, which will help you to deepen the understanding of the subject matter. Click on any one of them.
  5.  If you find the article interesting you may want to share it with your relatives and friends. You may Email it to them and invite them to join the EVSchool.
  6. Should you wish to add any new topic that would enrich our EVdictionary, do not hesitate to send an Email to yan@dolf.org.hk with your suggestions or better still with your writing.
