Concert (Evangelization)

An evangelization Concert is a specially arranged Music Concert to proclaim Jesus’ Gospel in a more attractive way to people, who do not know Him yet or do not believe yet. The singing is suited to the atmosphere and the chosen theme. Music plays an important role in the Evangelization Concert. The unitive, inviting, reminiscing and healing power of music can stir people’s mind hearts and memories and lead them to God. Usually a short play presents a concrete situation that makes people reflect and open up to Jesus’ message, which is normally delivered by a priest. One or two persons give their testimony about their experience of God’s presence in their conversions and their lives. Communal prayer and other forms of inter-action among the participants adds to the Concert’s effectiveness. Normally Catholics participate in the Concert together with their friends and relatives who do not believe yet
