The teaching of Christian doctrine in an organic and systematic way to those who already believe in Jesus: adults, young people, children and Catechumens (after they enroll in the Catechumenate).
Those who perform the ministry of teaching catechism in the Church are called "catechists".
Evangelization on the other hand is the proclamation of Jesus and His Gospel to those who do not believe in Him yet. Those who perform the ministry of Evangelization are called “Evangelizers” or “Evangelists”.
