Ascension

The bodily taking up of Jesus into the heavens to be at the right hand of God the Father. The account of Jesus' ascension is recorded in Luke 24: 5-53; Acts 1:4-11; Mark 16: 19. Jesus’ Ascension marks the beginning of Jesus’ presence in the world through his witnesses.
